The weekend — a conundrum.
For many, commuting has turned from a patience-testing saga to a 10-second stroll from the kitchen to a designated spot in the house.
Friday’s used to signify the end of the workweek. Time to enjoy company, some food and drink treats and mingle with friends.
Master Covid put a screeching halt to that concept.
I am one of the lucky folks who have a job with variety. I teach virtually, in school or on stage. I am so grateful to be out in the healthcare industry right now. It brings a sense of normalcy within this craziness.
It feels SO good!
But, I worry about people who live alone and work at home. So challenging to separate work and personal space. And weekends get blurred into weekdays. There is no buffer.
Stay positive. This will pass.
