The Young Boy and The Boat

It was 1981,

The boy was young,

The oceans clean,

His boat left the coast,

In the billow of the sea,

The boy took a deep breath,

His eyes wide shut,

Panic struck,

He couldn’t feel a thing,

He pondered to himself,

Today is more important,

Than tomorrow’s untold,

The boy smiled,

His cheeks shined,

He opened his eyes,

It was always today in front of him,

Today was always his.
