There are two things I hate: summer and ironing. Hence most of my clothes are non-iron, synthetic, and hot!
So this summer, I splurged and bought three linen dresses. Oh, they are so cool to wear, but the downside is they really need to be ironed or at least have some of the crinkles taken out of them.
Did I mention I detest ironing? So I bit the bullet and bought a steamer. It looked so easy to use–no need to set up the ironing board and find the iron–but in reality, it’s not. I ended up with an aching back and the linen dresses still had crinkles.
Back to the drawing board — or is that ironing board? Anyone want a only-used-once steamer?
