When my daughter said she was going to use cloth nappies*, I was a little surprised. She’d read the average baby uses 4,000 disposable nappies in its lifetime. That’s a lot of non-degradable rubbish. I said I’ll wash them for you.
Little did I know that today’s nappies were not white towelling squares. They are fancy pants with dozens of press-studs so they’re adjustable.
