This tree reminds me of my mom, her unconditional love.
I’ve been watching it for almost eighteen years now. Each time I see it, it appears to hold out its arms and saying, come home, and just breathe…everything will be absolutely okay!
The trunk is uniquely knobbly, as if already sheltering souls that needed soothing. The arms–branches spread wide, welcoming, as if inviting passersby to come spend a moment. Flowering trees in the vicinity shower their petals and fruit around this hugger tree, as if paying homage.
Did you notice how easy the tree is to climb?
The ambiance is beautiful. Serene. Calm. Warm sunshine. Gentle breeze. Buzzing butterflies. After coffee and lunch at the nearby café, I walk back to it to enjoy the peace.
