During my visit to Los Alcázares, Spain, I discovered a newfound love for paella, particularly the version made with octopus ink.

The deep, rich flavor of the ink gave the rice a memorable and unique taste. In most restaurants, paella is served for two people and costs about 15 euros per person.

I quickly learned that you have to order at least two portions, or they won’t serve it. Paella is typically served in a flat, wide pan and is usually cooked in the oven before reaching the table.

I’ve sampled various types of paella, including chicken, fish, and seafood mixes, but I often find them too salty for my liking.

Among the five varieties I’ve tried, the octopus ink paella remains my favorite.

Have you tried paella before?

How about Churros?
