We learned an important lesson today — watch out for icicles hanging from the roof!

I was cleaning the kitchen because I wanted to make split pea soup. My husband was outside, putting a new battery in my car. The old one was about to die and I didn’t want to be stranded.

He opened the door, asking if I wanted to see… something. He had a strange look on his face. When he turned around to show me his back, I saw why.

Wow! Did you notice that? It was your day flying by. This publication is your place to enjoy stories of 150 words or fewer about plants and people, wild animals and pets, gardens and food, how-to and how-not-to — written to inform and delight. Did I mention humor?
