Complaining is a way of expressing dissatisfaction but it can also sabotage your happiness.

In the past, I would complain to make myself feel better. I would complain about not reaching my destination, the time it would take, and how I was unjustly treated. At first, complaints gave me a sense of relief. However, over time, it became obvious to me that excessive complaining was not bringing me anywhere.

I have since recognised that complaints have kept me stuck and unable to move forward. The worst is to complain about things I have no control over. It is far better to stop pushing blame and to take responsibility for my own true happiness.

I have found it helpful to go on a complaint cleanse and shift towards truly feeling better instead.
