Who are angels? Do we even know?
From heard on high to helping strangers down below.
We’re familiar with two of their celestial names;
Michael and Gabriel are well-known of angelic fame.
One wars above; courageous and lethal;
Strong and tall; fighting against all sorts of evil.
The other one is known as God’s great communicator;
Shedding light on this world as a great illuminator.
Now that you are aware of these supernatural beings;
When you’re down, out, and blue;
Listen for the slow, steady beat of an angel’s wings.
