Why Winter Wonderlands Melt This Gal’s Heart

Yesterday, I woke up to birds chirping and saw green grass and daffodils popping out of the ground.

But it’s the third week of January, in Ohio — it isn’t supposed to be like this.

Today, winter finally decided to show up. I saw flakes as I enjoyed my morning cup of coffee and languished in my chair. Just a few at first, but then they picked up with intensity.

Soon the ground turned white. The trees became magical as each branch reached out delicately, catching the falling snow, creating a masterpiece no man could replicate.

It has been a dreary winter till today. Far from the wicked forecast we were predicted.

Nothing makes me happier than a good snowstorm that silences the world.

This may not be a storm, but I am enjoying the show.
