I saw the sign in the photo above in the Las Vegas airport. Google says that robotic manicures are available in six Target locations and several airports, including John F. Kennedy Airport, Miami International Airport, and Ronald Regan International Airport.

According to Glamour, the Clockwork machine “uses a combination of 3D and A.I. technology to paint your nails in under 10 minutes” and it costs around $10.

It sounds easy and convenient, but it also only paints your nails. There is no shaping or “cuticle care” like you would get in a full-service nail salon.

I might try this if I was in a rush and needed my nails to look nice for an event, but I’d much rather support locally owned nail salons that are run by humans.
