Your Rise Time Is Up To You, Don’t Judge Others

I’ve always been productive, whether working, volunteering or now in retirement. I write daily, research information for articles, read, have a small online jewelry business, and work on my photography. Always busy.
But, I got “the look” yesterday when I rose at 8 am on our vacation. Our neighbors, who traveled to the Caribbean with us, thought I had “slept poorly” because I got up late. It was only 30 minutes later than I got up on previous days.
They had been up since 4 am. I felt judged.
But they don’t know me. We brought them to thank them for helping us build our garage last summer. My husband and his male counterpart of this couple are friends.
Me? I’m productive — even if I need 8 hours of sleep. Don’t judge.
