More Motivation Is Not The Answer

The Key To Success Is Not Just Being Hungry. It’s Having A Thorough Plan To Follow.

Overused expressions are something I specialize in writing about, and today, I want to dig deeper into the concept of being hungry for a win.

When two evenly matched athletes face off against each other, the ultimate victor is usually described post-game as wanting it more. Because they wanted it more, they were able to withstand whatever offense their competition could muster and put up more than enough defense to ensure that in the end, when they pointed to the scoreboard, and the number for their team being higher than the number for the opposing team is the proof they needed of their accomplishment.

For those athletes, winning is based on the sense of necessary. All high performers in whatever sport or field they specialize in suffer from the same pseudo science. It is a matter of identity. Of being. Of will and desire to win.

It is just as bogus as we have always known.

Proof That It Takes More Than ‘Hunger’
Your proof is seen in the competitors who did not take the ultimate victory. Their heads are hung low. Grown men and women known for being strong and full of resolve are often reduced to uncountable tears.
