Will the Internet need to be reset one day?

There are so many websites and blogs out there. As of January 2014, over 86 million sites were built on Wordpress.

Every one of these sites were christened with a unique name by its then proud owner.

Some of these sites have flourished and others abandoned.

By the time my children are grown ups, the number of abandoned websites would be at a ridiculous level.

Would organisations like Wordpress need to hit the reset button and start over?
