Weekly Update #2

Today’s update is more of a confession. It is also a mindful moment focused on appreciation. This week has been, well bonkers on a global level, but also extra hectic on the home front. With my son on school holiday schedules got tossed up in the air. The time I had blocked out to work on my comic book (with serious intention!) got swept up in the hustle and bustle of daily life. Sheepish face, I let it happen! Sigh. So, that’s my confession, I didn’t make progress this week. But the updraft, silver lining appreciative bit? I am so happy I started this weekly update. One of the reasons I want to share my journey here -from idea to self published comic book- is that I know this weekly share will hold me accountable. On my own it is too easy to shift my creative project to the backburner. But with witnesses? That’s the kind of positive pressure that will make me keep at it! So thank you for being a part of the process! Join me next Friday when I get a little techy working out how to get started with the digital illustrations!!
