Day 6: Paradise on Earth

Kings Landing is nature’s theme park. Kings landing is full of breath-taking views and clear waters.

If you are into the wildlife, then this place is going to be one of your favorites. Explore the world-famous Emerald cut section of Rock springs while kayaking or canoeing. You can rent kayaks or canoes, or you can take your own for a cheaper price. Paddling through the crystal-clear waters will amaze you. You can also stay and discover the true beauty of Rock Springs Run. Sleeping under the stars at their campground is a must. I enjoyed Kings landing very much and I would love to revisit.

Paddling in a River full of mangroves and wildlife can be scary for some people. It is no lie that you can encounter a crocodile or a deer but the times that I have gone I have only seen a deer. There was a river nearby that was closed because it was infested with crocodiles. So that’s something to be aware of. As soon as you enter there is an area where everyone hangs out at which I think is safe. Fishing is allowed and pets are allowed so you can bring your furry friend along to paddle.

Staying for more than a day at kings landing will give you enough time to explore the whole park. Cabins are available but when I went, we decided to just camp in a tent which made the experience better in my opinion. It just depends on you. I can assure you that you will love this park and it is worth the drive.
