Day 20: For an Easy Costume (and an Especially Easy Couple’s Costume), Here’s How To Be Johnny From Dirty Dancing This Halloween
Johnny’s outfit in the final scene of Dirty Dancing is very easy to recreate and you may already have all the items to do so in your closet. So, without further ado, here’s how to dress as him this Halloween.
In the movie, Johnny wears a short sleeve, black button-up shirt (not buttoned up all the way) with the sleeves rolled up, black pants, and black dance shoes.
This outfit is simple, and the pieces are easy to find in clothing stores, after which you can even wear the pieces for occasions not limited to Halloween. It’s important to note, if you don’t have black dance shoes, and are not interested in buying some (which can be found on Amazon), you can easily switch them out for black dress shoes and the look will still work.
This outfit can work well as a solo costume that requires minimal planning however, it can also work for a couple’s costume.
