Day 18: For an Iconic Halloween Costume, Try Being Ms. Bellum From The Powepuff Girls
If you grew up on The Powerpuff Girls like me, I’m sure you always wondered what this character looked like. Her mysterious nature made Ms. Bellum one of the most recognizable and memorable characters in the show. Here’s how to achieve her look this Halloween!
On the show, Ms. Bellum wore a red blazer, a red pencil skirt, and red stiletto heels. Additionally, she wore a black belt with a gold buckle and a black necklace with a gold charm pendant.
For your costume, you may already have items like the black belt and the necklace at home. As for the blazer, you may be able to find it in stores, if not, check on Amazon since they do have options to select from, and the same applies to the skirt. As for shoes, any closed-toe red stiletto will do, and they are easily found in stores.
Finally, Ms. Bellum’s most defining feature is her curly and big ginger hair. If you already have long ginger hair, you could just curl it to fit the look. If you happen to have a natural afro, try buying orange hair spray at your local Halloween store to look just like Ms. Bellum. Alternatively, you can also try buying a long ginger curly wig at your local Halloween store or on Amazon if you don’t want to color your hair for the day.
