Three months ago, I walked away from my corporate data science job to pursue entrepreneurship full-time. While many factors went into that decision, one was the realization that if you work in AI & analytics, now is not the time to be on the sidelines.

(IMO) we are in the middle of a rare technological period akin to the .com days of the late 90s. However, instead of being driven by the internet, today, it’s being driven by AI.

But this isn’t new Shaw..

Of course, AI and machine learning aren’t new and, in fact, have been on the rise for the past two decades, but something changed post-ChatGPT. Namely, the power of AI became more accessible to non-technical folks, which made it spread like wildfire.

The end result of this is an environment where the demand for (and power of) AI is greater than ever before, which presents massive opportunities for entrepreneurs in this space.
