From 0 to 70k: My (Technical) Content Creation Journey

Over the past four years, I’ve created 150+ pieces of content across Medium and YouTube. While this started as a way for me to structure my learning and improve my communication skills, today, content creation is the main way I get customers and survive as an entrepreneur. In this article, I share my journey from a physics grad student to self-employed and the key lessons I learned along the way.

Note: This is not a flex post. The hardest part of my journey was there weren’t good resources specifically for technical people trying to use content as a path toward self-employment, which caused me to make a lot of mistakes. The goal of this article is to help you make progress faster by avoiding these mistakes.
