Information Builders announced it has been ranked as a top vendor for the seventh consecutive year in Dresner’s 2020 Cloud Computing and Business Intelligence study. “We are honored by the continued recognition for the unique design, technical capabilities, and scalability in our WebFOCUS product that allows customers to operationalize analytics across their enterprise,” — said Frank J. Vella, CEO, Information Builders.
Peak, the Manchester-based enterprise software firm, closes $12M Series A extension aimed at bringing AI capability to customers. This latest funding brings Peak’s total amount raised to $18.5 million, according to the company. “We’ve got a really strong viewpoint on the market. We know what we want our product to do, but there is so much more we want to do, so we want to do more long-term research,” — said Richard Potter, co-founder and CEO of Peak.
Dataflix announced the availability of its product “Data 360” on Google Cloud Platform Marketplace, providing customers with curated public datasets. Data 360 is a high-demand automotive curated datasets platform, making it easy to access and discover deep insights into vehicle safety, driver behavior and competitors. “Our goal is to make public data easily accessible for enterprises, without having to invest in data cleansing or data preparation.” — said Dheeraj Nallagatla, Founder, Dataflix.
Actian announced its Avalanche Real-Time Connected Data Warehouse Solution with support for AWS and Azure cloud platforms. The Actian hybrid solution is a cloud data warehouse, enabling enterprises to rapidly and inexpensively harness their diverse data sources for use in high performance analytics, both in the cloud and on-premise.
