Yes, the iPhone X is that cool
Don’t let anyone try to convince you otherwise
Upon initial feelings of finally holding this phone in my hand and if I’m judging off of looks alone, this new iPhone lived up to the hype. Despite all the misleading renders and official leaks, I was still astonished by the design of iPhone X. Unlike everyone else however, I’ve been ok with calling it iPhone X (ten). I like it better than iPhone X (ex).
The Display is the G. O. A. T.
If you like Samsung TVs, Galaxy Smartphones or Galaxy Tablets, you’ll fall in love with iPhone X’s Samsung made, Apple optimized display. Without a doubt. Plus, it’s bigger than iPhone Plus smartphones, without adding size to the phone itself. It’s heaven.
Here are my initial likes and disliked:
Likes:
- Display
- Lack of home button
- Speed (this thing is fast)
- FaceID
- The notch (yes the notch)
- IP 67 Water and Dust resistant
- Animojis!!!
Dislikes:
- Portrait Lighting is VERY BETA
- Apps aren’t optimized (a lot of empty space)
- Not enough Animojis
- App switching doesn’t let you switch forward only back
Overtime I’m sure developers will optimize their apps and Apple will make more use of the empty spaces. Regardless, tech geek or not, this phone’s design and functionality is absolutely amazing.
