Gratitude train
We are blessed.
We are blessed every day for every minute we have.
And yet we complain a lot, we get upset for peanuts, we waste our time in unimportant things just to feel busy, just to feel alive.
But does playing Pokemon make us feeling more alive than calling a friend?
Does watching the last TV soap fill our life better than sharing a walk in a forest with our loved ones?
Does chasing the last geek gadget empower our spirit greater than a good book?
We think we are special, we plan, we project, we hope.
And … one day, one precise minute, we are no more.
Those in that steel wrap were normal people, calling their mum while waiting the train. Quarreling on whatsapp about the last football match. Planning their next holiday while looking out of the window. Some even thinking about their retirement in 20 years, which came instantly after the next curb.
All those things we take for granted… vanishes like tears in the rain.
We forget how much grateful we should be just for this moment, this minute, this second we hear our heartbeat and we can listen to our breathing.
This moment is a gift, yes, that’s why it’s called present.
Let’s be grateful. Let’s practice gratitude as a pillar of our life and spirit.
(there are also great benefits from this practice, that you can learn by the links I provide here-under)
This train tragedy once more remind us how precious is our life, and how much we have.
