My word, who loves a well cooked Indian meal? * Raises hand,* Sai Dutt will be writing a weekly column for us with a focus on food around the world, the history of food, recipes, and culture.

This is one for food and travel lovers, I’m super excited to read his work, in London we have a whole street with Indian restaurants lined up, called Brick Lane — a must see and taste for any tourist to London. But, if you can’t make it to London, Sai has the low down and the perfect experience for you here on Medium! Here’s what he has to say about his column.

From our columnist

Spiced Up: Beyond Butter Chicken column, will explore the connection between cooking and life experiences. Each week, a recipe will be shared from various cuisines and cultures (mostly Indian), and reflect on how it relates to our personal stories, challenges, and joy in life.

There is more to Indian cuisine than naan and butter chicken.

The Spiced Up: Beyond Butter Chicken weekly column will also dive into the history and origin of the dishes, and learn more about the people and places behind them.

This column is for food lovers, travellers, and storytellers wanting to spice their lives up with new flavours and perspectives.
