From time to time, when we’re on the road, my buddy Gallico slips his copy of the column he’s filed for the Daily News that day under my hotel door.
It happens half a dozen times a season, when he’s particularly proud of himself. The deal is I hand it back to him at breakfast. He likes to keep the originals.
