AMC launches ‘Fear the Walking Dead’ Mobile Game
Fear the Walking dead fans can now download the game on the App store for iPhone, iPad, & iPod for free.
AMC teamed up with video-game publisher Versus Evil for “Fear the Waling Dead” it was launched in more than 125 countries.
“We wanted to launch the game in a unique and exciting way that honored the incredible show on which it’s based. The game is both thrilling and visually appealing as players try to survive the apocalyptic fall of Los Angeles,” said Mac McKean, senior VP of digital media for AMC and SundanceTV.
The game is published by Versus Evil who also published games like The Banner Saga, Guild of Dungeoneering & Armikrog.
Player can choose their favourite characters from the show. The gameplay takes place in LA across familiar landscapes such as an abandoned church, schools, & sports arena. It features more than 40 weapons and special episode levels that tells storylines aligning to the events of the TV series.
“Our goal from the beginning was to create a fun, accessible experience that stayed true to the energy of the show,” said Steve Escalante, g.m. and founder of Versus Evil. “We hope fans enjoy playing as their favorite show characters and competing with their friends in a world falling apart.”
