The essay of this week is an introductory article about the relevance of learning outcomes for engaging with young people through digital heritage educational resources.

It is titled Engaging through pedagogy. How do learning outcomes do it? and explores how important is the pedagogical dimension of the digital heritage educational resources for getting young people engaged. It contains the aims, the writing process, the assessment, and the relevance of the learning outcomes in the whole process of educational materials development.

In the twelfth episode of the podcast, we will our speaker about the relevance of learning outcomes assessments in heritage education, the differences, and similarities between formal and non-formal education learning outcomes, the ways of co-working between teachers and museum educators, the aim and the relevance of the Generic Learning Outcomes Model, and the recommendations to implement in the museums this model to get the most effective heritage educational materials for young people.
