Let us think about WEEK 3. Welcome to WEEK 4!

After having taken an approach to the state of digital educational resources related to cultural heritage from educator’s and young people’s perspective and the relationship between young people and cultural heritage from a statistical point of view, in Week 4 and WEEK 5 we will explore the perspective from the creatives with a digital content producer and the cultural heritage institutions from the manager of an educational department.

This week, we will discover more about how digital content producers develop educational materials using digital heritage for different audiences.

As every week, an essay will be posted in the blog and a talk will be recorded in the podcast.

The essay of this week, titled Creative educational opportunities for and with digital cultural heritage, explores how national and regional policies and European programs and initiatives help institutions, entrepreneurs, and freelance professionals to start new projects around digital cultural heritage and digital heritage education.

In the fourth episode of the podcast, we will talk with Zoë Smith about how important is for creatives to have the opportunity of producing digital educational resources for young people, how digital heritage materials for educational purposes have been developed, how does the methodology change from an institution to another and how to imply audiences on the developing process.
