Why I joined a MLM organisation, and why I won’t encourage others to do the same.

A work colleague of mine had posted on LinkedIn. She has this fantastic work from home opportunity affording her the lux life.

Would anyone like more info, they must send a DM.

Curious to find out more I did and this is where it all started for me.

An intro call later and I have signed up to join. I am super excited about the travel incentives and the money that will be rolling in.

For months I INVESTED my time and energy, working from my smartphone. Making those intro calls, recruiting like crazy. Getting ladies to sign up and buy into this program. I was heading for that island in the sun…

Months had past and the reality hit me sqaure in the face. When something seems too good to be true, it is.

I sold a few measly items, and made only a few dollars from my downline. But, nothing like the great promises of freedom and money. My family and friends by this time have removed themselves from my social circles. For fear of me pushing stock down their throats. Meanwhile on my social pages I was balling, living the lux lie.

Multilevel Marketing preys on the vulnerable. You use your hard -earned cash to buy a kit in the hopes of many the money roll in. You get alienated by family and friends and you don’t make the money the leaders do.

I won’t encourage others to get sucked in by old school friends or work colleagues. You work your butt of while somebody else benefits from it.
