Insights from DLD Tel Aviv 2015 —
The Next 1,000,000 (not a misprint) people who are moving to Israel..
I know there’s lots of cool stuff doing on at DLD Tel Aviv Innovation Festival 2015.
Tons of companies, startups, people, delegartions from all over the world… and I mean all over the planet.
Of all the things I saw on day one, here’s one that blew me away: a mission to bring 1,000,000 (not a misprint) new “immigrants” to Israel.
I continue to look for fundamential, long-term shifts that I see going on here.
This is one of them.
This may be a 20 year cycle to do this, but think of the intellectual and capital wealth that would be transferred and brought here in doing so.
I also see (and I am part of this sub-culture) more and people chosing to work and live part of, if not a majority of their time here in Israel, while still keeping their ties to wherever “back home” might be.

A very compelling and bold idea that is starting to unfold…. with technology and telecom you can create your own reality…
