While Amalia Bryl and Shahar Wilner have not formally launched their new Hybrid EdTech VC Fund / Incubator, they are looking to meet and connect with innovators and entrepreneurs from all over the world who are coming to DLD Tel Aviv 2015.

They are not necessarily looking for educators in the tradtional sense.

Rather, they are looking at meeting with people and teams who have creative and compelling new ways to learn.

Their vision is to build a new platform whose goal is to initiate and assist innovative Edtech companies. EdVantage is a spin off of Time To Know, one of the most experienced Israeli EdTech companies. It is a hybrid VC fund and incubator.

EdVantage presents a flexible model, tailored to the needs of each startup.

They intend to work hand-in-hand with Edtech entrepreneurs, offering a unique experimentation and a validating environment, which, they believe, is the key for the creation of a sustainable company.

EdVantage challenges the current techno — pedagogy paradigm.

They don’t believe in one silver bullet, nor in introducing “education in a box.”

They offer a sandbox to experiment and validate what works with real customers. In doing so, their approach focuses on the startup’s journey; enabling exploration and a deep understanding of problems and challenges which they hope will lead to the development of game changing solutions.

Learning is a life-long process.

  • How we learn.
  • Where we learn.
  • On what mediums and platforms we learn.

It’s up for grabs.

If you have something compelling, reach out to the team— edvantage@timetoknow.com and connect.
