Networks help you build your business

You’re a freelancer. You need projects, but you can’t run to advertising on a billboard in Times Square. And even if you could 99.999% of the people who saw it would not be interested in your service.

Well, maybe. You might be a hooker. But then, you’d just loiter on the corner until you saw a blue-and-white. Personal services. Hmm…

As a freelancer, you can and should build relationships and connections with other professionals. Networking is an important activity for everyone in business; it helps keep your clients happy and it enhances your reputation as a professional who gets things done well.

These are just a few pointers for you, to get you thinking about building your network.
