November Recap with The Doge NFT

As you must have realised, we have shifted from weekly recaps to a structure inculcating monthly recaps. November has been one of our highest-grossing months so far and we cannot be more excited to share all about it with you.
Governance
The multisigners are a group of people who manage the community treasury and approve transactions relating to the outflow of funds. With an aim to diversify and make the DAOge treasury more secure, 2 new, non-US-based members were added to the existing pack of 7.
The voting went live with a total of 5 applicants contending for the 2 vacant seats. After a rollercoaster of an election, Shubh and Optimistic Intern got elected making the multisigners complete. A 6/9 voting majority is now required to approve or reject any transaction.
2. Constitution in cooking📕
The Constitution makers have been summoned and we are to soon see a draft of our very own, Doge NFT constitution defining, clarifying and paving the way for decades of dogely fun!
Hours of debates and discussions have already been put into laying a concrete structure defining the roles of Multisigners, DIC (Doge Improvement Council) members, core contributors and community ambassadors. More is yet to come but as of now, let us keep an eye out for ideas!
3. Bark Tank and DIPs💰
The Bark Tank is a grant program and accelerator to help The Doge NFT community bring their ideas to life. Many amazing projects, such as the Doge Pixel Portal, were born through the Bark Tank process. Doge Improvement Proposals are your opportunity to make a mark and change the course of our ecosystem’s trajectory.
Here is a list of some whacky ideas we received and voted upon in these past couple of months:
- Attendance at Art Basel🖼
Smoke and Zona attended the Art Basel Miami NFT event spreading the gospel on $DOG and memecomony. A lot of connections were made and fun was spread in the air by Doge Statues being hidden as Easter eggs!
- Bid on “Woman Yelling on Cat Meme”👨⚖️
A dogergency was called, keyboards were raged, phone calls were made and notifications went off the roof. The DIC and Multisigners were summoned for an urgent vote to bid on the iconic woman yelling on cat meme auction on Foundation. The imperative of memes supporting memes was enshrined even though we got outbid.
- Doge Coffee Shop☕️
Daogeshi’s proposal on producing Doge Speciality Coffee received green and is currently in the final stages of production. Soon you will be able to brew wows in your kitchen- every morning, every evening, every meeting and post every eating, let’s wow it!

As the Pixel Race gets intense, we voted on minting 700 Pixels and getting DAOge to the top of the leaderboard. 1 year of the project, celebrated well!

Partnerships
500 people were onboarded to the $DOG ecosystem with exciting rewards. Not only did the Bounty Hunters buy $DOG and mint pixels, but they also held on to it for a minimum of 5 days to receive a reward of 16969 $DOG!
Rainbow is for Doges. Supporting the #BronzeTheDoge campaign from Day 1, Rainbow has generously offered to donate all revenue earned on any swaps for $DOG (there’s a 0.85% fee per swap) between Nov 2 and Dec 6th.
Exciting prizes like custom Doge x Rainbow wallet icon and Pixels are lined up for those who swap at least 16969 $DOG during the campaign on Rainbow✨
On Kabosu’s 17th birthday, Dogecoin Foundation and PleasrDAO (OwnTheDoge.com), with assistance from MyDoge, Doge Pound, Feisty Doge, Rainbow and other friends and admirers of Kabosu the Doge and Shiba Inus everywhere started this campaign. So far, around $50,000 has been raised to make a Bronze Statue of Kabosu in her hometown Sakura, Japan.
4. GCR x ownthedoge Layer 3 comp🐶
A thanksgiving themed competition was hosted by GCR in collaboration with us where participants were asked to share an image of themselves with their dogs- telling us how thankful they are for them. Over 100 people participated and filled the internet with cuteness!
Lords of Dogetown, our Doge skateboarding game built by @_MVStudios was released on @TheSandboxGame as a part of its Alpha Season 3. You play as a skateboarding Shiba, exploring the land, completing tasks and earning achievements🛹🏅
Pixel Perks
The claim window for our high-quality, much beautiful dank doge bandana ended on the 30th of November. The remaining bandanas will be put up for sale on our merch store for Pixel Holders only. Don’t forget to share pictures of your super cute dogs wearing them!
2. The Doge Academy Sem-1 Pass🎟
Our web3 hub of learning is finally open for admissions and students owning a Pixel are eligible for a free mint. The semester kicks off on December 10th and you will be taught how to create a generative NFT project in the span of a few months!

3. Doge Major🐶
We purchased the beautiful 1/1 NFT “Doge Major” created by the talented @AnasAbdin and distributed fractions of it as Pixel Perks to Pixel holders in the month of October.
As part of our Lords of Dogetown project, we have 115 @TheSandboxGame wearables NFTs to give Pixel holders. 9 different wearables are up for grabs with mixed rarity and value. This claim is “first come first serve” until all 115 are claimed. The Claim window closes December 10th when we roll out our new Pixel Perk✨

Optimistic Intern along with his friends represented us in the Dogecoin Hackathon. They worked on the wrapped doge bridge and won the first prize!
We launched a play2earn / meme2earn Twitter competition to make playing Lords of Dogetown more fun. Many submissions were received and an insane prize pool of 4 Pixels, 2 Alpha passes and 8 Sandbox Wearables was distributed to the winners!
