We are Own The Doge, the community that collectively owns the one and only Doge meme NFT through $DOG. As we continue our mission to spread the lore of the Doge, one of the world’s most viral memes — we would also like to take a moment to thank our IRL shiba fren, Kabosu, and her owner Atsuko as without them, none of this would be pawsible, such legemds!
We are back(ed) and now base(d) to share all of the much excite-ing things that have been happening in the realm of DOGE this quarter.

2. $DOG’s main LP locked in
The main liquidity pool for $DOG which was valued at 3.7m dollars is locked in by our DAOs until Jan 1, 2029.
3. We did a Livestream with Sminem himself
Sminem — the boy who saved crypto joined us all the way from Russia for Woof Weekly #119 on X Spaces. After a photograph of him as a teen wearing a knockoff shirt with the rapper Eminem on it (with “Eminem” misspelled as “Sminem”) was shared on the Russian internet and Reddit, he became a meme on 4chan boards wearing an Eminem t-shirt. There is tons of lore around Sminem just as there is with The Doge.
4. Original Doge Image bought on chain as an inscription
The iconic image that sparked a phenomenon is now securely preserved on the blockchain indefinitely. The original Doge image has been immortalized on the Ethereum blockchain. This timeless depiction of Kabosu has now found its eternal home here — such permanency.
5. We released our 2023 EOY recap
Own The Doge has accomplished a LOT in the past year so as we step into 2024, let’s take a moment to reminisce about the incredible journey of 2023 — a year full of unforgettable moments. From the joyful borks of Kabosu on spaces at the year’s start to the most paw-some celebration to close it off, each month brought Dogely vibes to new heights!
6. We are now on Warpcaster- /dog
Own the Doge joined the Warpcaster bandwagon. For those of you that don’t know, Warpcast is a broadcasting platform powered by Farcaster. Farcaster is an open-source protocol allowing anyone to join or build decentralized social applications on top of it. It enables communities to create channels where they can share content, interact with members, and foster a vibrant community ecosystem. Think of it as a X platform but for crypto. If you aren’t already, make sure you are following us @ownthedoge and join our channel /dog.

8. The first ever Doge art exhibition was announced
The Doge touched down all the way at Oshi Gallery in Melbourne, Australia for a much wow IRL experience entitled, Doge: The Exhibition. This one-of-a-kind event brought together Doge lovers from near and far to celebrate the iconic meme that has become a cultural phenomenon. From the original Doge image to modern interpretations of the meme, the exhibition showcased the enduring impact of Doge on art, culture, and society offering others a glimpse into the world of Doge like never before.
As we reflect on this much unforgettable event, we’re reminded of the power of Doge is to bring people together, spark joy, and inspire creativity. Doge — The Exhibition at Oshi Gallery was more than just an art show; it was a celebration of community, inclusivity, and the boundless possibilities of meme culture.
9. We announced our largest ever airdrop on Base
We announced to drop 1,000,000,000 $DOG tokens (~$15M) in total to frens on Base over the course of a month which was by far our biggest drop ever!
10. OTD team joined Onchain Stories hosted by Base
OG team members, Smoke, and Path, were invited to speak on Onchain Stories to discuss all things Doge, TITLES, and Base chain, much wow!
11. We celebrated the first anniversary of First Doge NFT
February 9th 2024 marked the 1st anniversary of First Doge NFT which was the first photo of Kabosu (The Doge) ever taken by Atsuko!
12. Snapshot vote for $DOG supply redistribution got passed
Following a vote, a decisive plan was agreed upon for the redistribution of the $DOG supply. Thanks to PleasrDAO for their collaboration, who worked in accordance with Path’s governance proposal. Currently, PleasrDAO, who was previously the largest holder of DOG holds no amount of unlocked DOG, all their holdings are either locked, donated to the community DAO or used to provide LP. This plan is designed to sustainably foster the growth and development of the project.
13. Limited Edition Autographed Doge Prints
For the first time EVER, a licensed A3 print of your most favourite doggo, signed by @kabosumama and Kabosu herself — printed on museum grade paper from Oshi Gallery and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity was made available. 50% of the profits made went to Melbourne charities that work with dogs, to keep local tails wagging.
