Here are all the reasons:

A New Space Race Begins:

American Astronauts Land on Moon on 16 July 1969

When NASA landed on the moon in 1969 it proved to the entire world that capitalism is a better form of government than Russia’s Communism. With the SpaceX launch US does that again and starts a new space race, one in which they are already far ahead.

Economic Alternative:

Until now, if the US had to send astronauts to space it had to get the help of Russia. A seat on the Soyuz Space Capsule costs 88 million dollars. Elon Musk’s offers a better space flight experience for 55 million dollars. This takes us one step closer to commercial space flight.

Independent America:

For the first time in a decade, America has sent its astronauts in space using all American equipment. This establishes America’s independence in the space travel sector.

A Milestone:

SpaceX became the first privately funded space organization to send astronauts in space. This is a milestone in the history of capitalism and entrepreneurship. Even the thought of something like this was so bizarre a decade ago. Elon Musks perseverance has set an example of how one man can create historic change in the world.

Increase of space appeal in youth:

Spacesuits designed by SpaceX

The use of new-age technology in space travel will encourage more youngsters to opt for careers in science and technology. There is drastic difference in the Soyuz Space Capsule and the Dragon. The new spacesuits are better equipped and look appealing as well.
