Programming is a very necessary thing these days, people make apps and publish them for several reasons from business to chatting, to... but have you ever wondered how could you create your own app ? I will tell you about the best websites/apps to make them without a single line of code using block programming !

1. Sketchware

Sketchware is an Android app that uses Scratch block programming, where you could add blocks to each other instead of code, It gives you other properties like Google Firebase for online login (authentication) and chat features. It offers you a store where you could see other blocks an designs by several people for free.

You can download/install your app as an Android .APK file and publish it to the Google play store !

Most features are offline.

2.MIT app inventor

App inventor, by Google and then MIT, is an outstanding app inventor. It’s basically free and uses block programming instead of code. The main problem that the design is really old and the apps may not be in a beautiful design. It has a website where you could start work and an Android app to work from your phone. Requires WiFi.

3. Thunkable

Thunkable was made by some of the engineers who made MIT app inventor. Whatsoever, the app offers more features like Microsoft Image recognition, Firebase,… in addition to the beautiful website theme. However, it’s not all free, the paid version gives you the ability to make your project private (otherwise it’s public and anyone can access and copy)

It has an app that offers live test for the app, it uses block programming , you can even download and install Android .apk and iOS versions of your app !

Other websites/apps

There are plenty of other sites/apps that offer you coding free experience in creating you app journey, like buildfire, appsgeyer,… go check them out if you didn’t like the block programming principle.
