Did God Hate Job?

Why would God punish an innocent man? If Job was so faithful and righteous, why would God allow him to go through so much pain?

As I continue on with my Old Testament series, I am switching it up by skipping a few books ahead.

When I was struggling with spiritual warfare after my second miscarriage, it felt like everyone and their mamas were bringing up Job’s story. I was struggling to even look at my Bible, but I told myself that when I was ready, I would read Job.

So, since it is fresh in my mind, I am going to go ahead and write about it for this series.

Job had it all.

Right at the very start of the book of Job, we see that Job was doing really well in life.

He was a family man. He was wealthy. He was known as “The Greatest Man Among All the People of the East.”

Job had great faith and feared the Lord.
