We Pray to God. We Walk with God. We Hold His Hand
We pray to God. He understands. We walk with God. From this day on.
Scripture Reading: I will walk among you and be your God, and you will be my people. (Leviticus 26:12, NIV)
Reflection. Walking with Almighty God is a lifetime commitment. What a wonder this is. We are the people of our Creator.
Scripture Readings: He has shown you, O mortal, what is good.
And what does the Lord require of you?
To act justly, and to love mercy,
And to walk humbly with your God. (Micah 6:8, NIV)“Once you had no identity as a people; now you are God’s people. Once you received no mercy; now you have received God’s mercy” (1 Peter 2:10). We have been claimed by an Almighty, Awesome God. It’s not that we have done anything worthwhile, He claimed us simply because He loved us. First, He created us, and then He redeemed us from sin. Let us ponder on the wonder of “simply because He loved us.” God is love. It does not matter how many times we repeat this. It amazes us still, “simply because He loved us.” We are no one special. Oh! But yes, we are. We are a child of God. We are made in the image of Almighty God. We are made in the very likeness of God Himself. We are indeed very special to our Creator God.
