Post the First
Hello reader, and welcome to the very first story for this publication.
For those who don’t know me, and given the kind of population change I’ve seen on Civcraft this past year or two, that’s probably most of you, I’m Erich Honecker.
I’ve played Civcraft on and off since the Golden Age of Columbia in 1.0. and I’ve seen a lot of things in my time on the server. This publication is basically my way of reminiscing, except instead of logging on and boring new players with stories of the good old days, they’ll be on a webpage so people can ignore them without feeling cruel. Any other oldfriends are more than welcome to send in their own articles and recollections — my email adress is on the side of the page.
As well as trips down memory lane with rose-tinted spectacles firmly attached, I will also try to include some essays on Civcraft, simple introductions to various political theories along with a potted history of their actions on Civcraft and basically anything else I fancy.
Knowing me, this will probably die slowly as I lose interest, but if it entertains or even educates just a few people, it will have been worth it.
