DropChain is the 2018 runner up in the SSBA Forum & Hackathon! DropChain had the incredible opportunity to participate in our very first hackathon hosted by Shanghai Singapore Business Association (SSBA). SSBA provides a platform for Singapore and Shanghai to connect and collaborate on business ventures. Themed “Transforming Your Business with Innovation & Technology” the Business Forum & Hackathon was a momentous occasion for us, as we were recognized for our contribution to a healthier, transparent global food supply chain.
DropChain participated in a case challenge presented by Y3 Technologies on “how distributors and wholesalers could fulfill orders with speed and accuracy while obtaining insights to guide better decision-making.” We felt a sense of understanding and accomplishment, knowing we are creating solutions to real challenges global supply chain companies face today.
It is our responsibility and passion to ensure a safer and healthier world for future generations to come. By intersecting traditional processes with blockchain technology, our goal is to improve traceability and transparency in F&B supply chains, ensuring fair transactions, quality products, and strong incentives for all participants. What more, our technology can be applied to all industries who face issues of accountability, lack of viable insights and misaligned incentives.
The Forum brought together industry leaders and innovators from Singapore and China, encouraging conversations about how enterprises can leverage technology and innovation for the future. For DropChain, it was humbling to receive industry validation and be amongst the brightest minds in technology and innovation.
