Dundee Culture has announced details of its 2024 campaign, entitled “Dundee For Everyone”.

The core of the campaign centres around Dundee being Scotland’s first city with 2024 marking 135 years since it was given city status.

It will enforce the message that Dundee is a city for everyone, from artists to musicians, campaigners to volunteers. It will also aim to tell the stories of Dundonians who are doing incredible work throughout the city.

The campaign will also tie into celebrating 50 years of Ninewells Hospital which has been a staple of Dundee life throughout the past five decades and 10 years since Dundee was awarded UNESCO City of Design status as it continues to build upon a new design industry.

“Dundee continues to be a leading city in several fields, it is the best in Scotland — and as the city continues to gain notoriety on the global stage, the Dundee For Everyone campaign will showcase the city to the world louder than ever before.”

Andrew Batchelor, Dundee Culture founder

The “Dundee For Everyone” campaign will launch on 26 January 2024, the 135th anniversary of Dundee becoming Scotland’s first city.
