He is “In Cramer We Trust”, as his slogan so proudly suggests. Mad Money is a place for many a layman to lay their eyes and ears, listening to Cramer spew away at what the network justifies as financial information. Cramer has witnessed three financial meltdowns since his inception as a commentator on CNBC.

In 2007, Bear Stearns is about to go out of business in under a year. This is the same year that Jim Cramer is demanding the Federal Reserve “cut the rate” and “open the discount window”.

News hadn’t come out yet just how bad this financial crisis was going to be. On March 11, 2008, a caller asked Cramer about Bear Stearns. Cramer replied: “Bear Stearns is fine!
