The Edge Atlas; Unlocking Human Potential
Dear Reader,
Welcome to The Edge Atlas; a cartographic cornucopia curated to help unlock human potential.
Most of you will have arrived here by reading my recent Linkedin article about finding inspiration in times of crisis. So much has happened since then and I have many of you all to thank for that.
It seems pertinent to provide insight into what this experiment aims to achieve in Issue #1… I feel I owe you at least that to warrant a place in your inboxes / feeds regularly.
The Edge Atlas is designed to primarily provide two things;
- Exploring The Creative Supply Chain
In such times of constraint and isolation, inspiration is in short supply. In contrast the demand for inspiration is at an all time high (for both our general well-being and our productivity). If inspiration is the fuel for many creative endeavours, we’re set to have a major supply chain problem in the coming months of extended COVID-19 restrictions. I will use this space as a platform to share findings and musing from my research and explorations, with the hope they will inspire you and your teams to keep creatively fit (so to speak) until we can come together again.
2. Inspiration From The Edges
I’m lucky to operate in roles that traverse and collide the arts and the sciences, the corporations and the gigsters. Every issue will provide a little thought-provocation from my journeys around the edges of these diverse conversations, perspectives and industries. The aim is to make you feel comfortable exploring edges that interest you, and perhaps find those you might be surprised to take delight in (just for the joy of it).
The Edge Atlas is primarily designed as a regular email newsletter to interrupt your week and inspire you. This week I explore the wonder of ecotones, Bezos’s latest move into the COVID-19 space and an organisation working to make endangered heritage art accessible.

In the meantime I’d love to invite you for a coffee and chat to explore the edges together. Comment below if you’d like to connect.
I can’t promise what the future will hold, but I know we’ll have an interesting conversation at the very least.
Stay safe,
Emma
