The current House of Representatives has made attendance data available for a total of 11 meetings in the past year(as per the Student Government folder). We have compiled a graphical representation of the attendance chart of each individual in the House, as per their party affiliations.

Prakrit

Prakrit has had the overall highest attendance average in the house attending on an average 9.25 meetings in the year. Among the Prakrit members who were in the House last time, Arush Pande has been late the most number of times to meetings, whereas Ritunjay Shekhar has had a pretty good track record of missing only 1 meeting and not being late for any.

Samiti

The now defunct Samiti has had the worst track record within the House. The presidential candidate for Samiti, Zoheb Bedi left the House midway. He missed 2 meetings of the House within that time period itself. Saptarshi Basak has attended the least number of meetings of the House and out of the 6 that he attended, he was late for 2. Shrey Gupta follows close to Mr. Basak having missed 4 and been late for 2 out of the 7 that he did attend. These figures prompt a larger question about the accountability of 1 year parties like Samiti and their seriousness with regard to what they claim to stand for.

Dhamma

The majority party in the current House, yet not contesting in this year’s elections is Dhamma. Dhamma members have attended House meetings 8.57 times in the calendar year. KC Sachin ( President of the House) and Sumer Sharma have been the odd few who have attended all meetings of the House.

Independent Candidates

The 2 independent candidates who stood for elections last year were Aarushi Aggarwal and Srishti Bansal. While Ms. Aggarwal has attended every House meeting and wasn’t late for any, Ms. Bansal has been absent for 3 meetings. Ms. Bansal is the presidential candidate for BJP this year.

The House of Representatives might have met more times, but have failed to keep an accurate record of this data for each meeting. Therefore if there is any mistakes in our data it is reflective of what we have been given and not what we have collected.
