With the rapid changing climate, it’s a necessity to teach kids about sustainability.

There are various ways to introduce kids to a sustainable lifestyle and to explain related concepts to them.

Here’re a full like of sustainability activities for kids. These activities sensitize them about how to live a life that ensures that we leave enough resources for our future generations.

Some activity examples from that list are:

1. Habit-building:

Carry out habit-building activities like recycling, sorting garbage, making craft with reusable items, make compost, and plant a garden.

2. Solve a worksheet:

Download a worksheet for kids on sustainability. This sheet has activities like garbage sorting, word-finding, and identifying sustainable activities. This enables learner to develop cognitive understanding of such concepts.

3. Read books:

Some great books on sustainability are “The Lorax” by Dr. Seuss, “Don’t Let Them Disappear” by Chelsea Clinton, “The Adventures of a Plastic Bottle” by Naoko Stoop, and “George Saves the World by Lunchtime” by Jo Readman.
