10 Things we all miss about school life

I miss the play grounds, and the animals and digging up worms

School life was good we did what we loved

So it’s been a while since the last day at my school. I remember almost every moment of that day. I felt like I hadn’t been this scared in a long time and so unprepared to go out to the world.

School was a poem with clumsy words, a simple melody, and the outside world’s an ugly place, but life is so beautiful to me.

1. No responsibilities. No Pressure.

We did but never bothered much. It was doing a two-page homework or reading some chapter. Today, it’s much more. Not just academically but now we are labeled as grown-ups. Good job society. We used to ask for permission to go to the bathroom and months later we were supposed to be making life-changing career decisions.

We used to run a lot. Now we want to but can’t.

2. Miss the comfort. Miss the weight of the world. Miss the polite world.

Yeah, we all miss the comfort of our teachers and the weight of the world we think we had upon ourselves from some teachers until we got out of there and met professors and bosses. No politeness, no more.

Worst case scenario

3. Making Friends was much easier

Same bag? We’re friends. Same hairstyle? We’re friends. Getting scolded for the same thing? We’re best friends. That’s how we made friends back then. I have the same friends, nothing changes but the faces and priorities.

Same Color? We’re friends, right?

4. Vacations and breaks were the best things ever

We so much wanted breaks and vacation from all those boring periods, now we wish to get a break from life, not just lectures or meetings.

Breaks were majestic

5. Getting grades was easier

Somehow it did looked difficult at the time, but we all know this now, it’s harder to pass a test now in college or a routine test at your job. Concentration span at books was literally better in school, damn!

I know this. Duh!

Now, it’s just

Damn it!

6. We were never concerned about money.

Probably because, they never taught us about the taxes or banks as much as they taught us how a person would hold 12 bananas in just one hand at once. Must be some talented guy. Now, it’s a shame that it’s most peoples ultimate dream, money. At least we used to dream better when we were younger.

Dream is paying bills at the right time

7. We actually dreamed

Today, only a small lot does that. Most people don’t even live, they just exist. Our so much ‘expertise’ in life has stopped us from going all creative and all out. In school, we all used to be as alive as anything.

Never stop dreaming

8. We did what we loved

We always did what we loved. Maybe we used to be a little naughty, a little devil, but we did what we wanted. We used to cry, beg and do it. Going all berserk and bizarre was just one of our best qualities and that’s how we used to learned. We had a lot of fun.

Most of our childhood

9. We had no fear

Yes, we did. Feared from teachers when we didn’t do our homework or from parents after getting the bad grades or getting into some fight and ghosts, for some. What we fear today is much worse. We fear almost everything we do. We disguise dreams with fear in the name of practicality. We were more bold and less calculative.

No fear, no worry.

10. Childhood

Yes, this sums up pretty well. It is the childhood what we all really missed the most about our school life mostly. Some of re still a kid though.

Children are the best

The life after school is weird. The whole world is just obsessed with whose the best dressed, who’s got the money, who catch the honeys and who is kinda cute and who is just a mess. And you still don’t have the right look, and you don’t have the right friends. Nothing changes but the faces, names and trends.

Life after school is just a pretend game where you pretend to be someone the rest of society wants you to be accepted. Yeah, it’s overwhelming but what can we do. Get the jobs in the offices and wake up for the morning commute.

Forget about the mothers and our friends, we were fated to pretend. But there’s nothing we can do. Love must be forgotten, life can always startup new. The models will have children, we’ll have divorce, we’ll find some more models. Everything must run it’s course.

We’ll choke on our vomit and that will be the end. We were fated to pretend.

But remember, you always wanted to be this old, right? Now enjoy it and make those childhood dreams a reality and live every moment as if it were last and cherish the golden school life you had.
We knew definition of success back then
