When Visibility Becomes Legacy: How EVG Surprised Sharnese Johnson with a Mayoral Proclamation Honoring Women’s Wealth and Wellness

Every so often, you meet someone whose work carries a quiet power. Someone who doesn’t seek applause but ends up commanding it anyway. That is what I saw in Sharnese Johnson.

Through her Women, Wealth & Wellness Brunch and her steady commitment to helping women build wholeness, not just success, she turned personal passion into community purpose. And purpose, when it is pure, always draws light.

That is why Elevate Visibility Group wanted to give her a moment that reflected just how far her light has reached. So behind the scenes, the team went to work. We researched, coordinated, and submitted the request. And then, in October 2025, something remarkable happened.

The Mayor of Jacksonville officially declared October as Women’s Wealth and Wellness Month, a proclamation inspired by Sharnese’s vision.

When the document was placed in her hands, she did not just receive a certificate. She received confirmation.

The Power of a Proclamation

A proclamation is a city’s way of saying, “We see you.”
It is not given lightly. It is reserved for those whose work leaves a mark deeper than a headline, people whose efforts transform hearts, homes, and communities.

Sharnese’s work does exactly that. She has built spaces where women learn to take care of their minds and their money with equal grace. Where self-worth and net worth are not in competition.

Her message has always been clear. Wealth is more than income. Wellness is more than rest. And together, they are the foundation of legacy.

Turning Recognition Into Movement

When Elevate Visibility Group surprised Sharnese with this honor, it was not just about giving her flowers. It was about planting seeds. Seeds of momentum, opportunity, and visibility that could bloom for years to come.

Recognition is beautiful, but transformation is the goal.

Now, this proclamation stands as both proof and platform. Proof that consistent, purpose-driven work is noticed. And a platform from which Sharnese can continue to:

● Expand her Women’s Wealth and Wellness initiative into a national conversation
● Partner with local organizations, sponsors, and educators who believe in her mission
● Launch new programs and events each October that remind women everywhere that prosperity starts within

Legacy Work

At its core, this is what Elevate Visibility Group believes in. Not just getting clients seen, but helping them build something that lasts.

Sharnese’s proclamation was not requested or expected. It was earned through years of serving, showing up, and shining light in spaces where women needed it most.

And when she held that document, surrounded by community and gratitude, you could feel the moment. It was a reminder that when preparation meets purpose, recognition is simply a reflection of what was already true.
