We (teachers and parents) hear (not listen) and then ignore the voices of children who are yearning to learn, grow and engage the world with their curiosity and creativity. Schooling just tends to kill this natural instinct knowingly or unknowingly.
During the Hacking Education Fellowship, I experimented with haikus as a poetry form. Here are some that I wrote on my experiences in school.
