Increasingly, CIOs are concerned about compliance and how that affects business. With an increase in workplace safety issues and privacy concerns globally — CIOs are forced to make sure every employee understands the implications of compliance as a bottom-line criteria.

Whether it’s workplace safety, regulatory compliance pressures or basic knowledge management — Compliance & Knowledge Retention are top priorities for leaders in any global enterprise.

We at Tydy have a simple goal — Build better relationships at the workplace. And core of that is by delivering the right information & connections at the right time. We are growing up to be that one partner who delivers the right information at the right time. And we started with the onboarding process, but we are now going beyond onboarding and in to compliance and employee-support.

So, with this background — and being a global leader in Employee Onboarding solutions — let’s dig a bit deeper in to why compliance & knowledge retention.

After much discussion, contemplation and research, we decided to launch a product called Knowledge Retention — aimed squarely at compliance knowledge management for global workforces.

So, what is Compliance Knowledge Retention?

Well, it surely is a mouthful :)

Large global enterprises usually have strong compliance processes for employees. Whether it’s Environmental, Health & Safety or Sexual Harassment Compliance — these usually have a legal implication and are a set of policies that govern how various aspects of the workplace and the organization are managed.

In simpler terms, it has to do with the employee-employer relationship.

And it has to do with protecting the business from lawsuits, expenses and legal ramifications.

And the key tenet of Compliance Risk is the need to try and reduce the risk from the onset.

On a factory shop floor, every single worker must “know” how to handle each and every situation at the factory floor. Whether it’s managing their own safety or the safety of their colleagues — risk mitigation must be the primary motive for all.

And with this — there is a need for each and every employee to “remember & know” about safety procedures, handling equipment, managing bodily strain and more.

Organizations have a duty to ensure the retention of this knowledge. And this is where Compliance Risk Management through Knowledge Retention comes up.

How do we solve this problem?

Tydy’s Knowledge Retention product is what CIOs and Leadership have been looking for to further strengthen the compliance process within large enterprises.

  • It’s all about bite-sized content — companies can set up campaigns that deliver bite-sized content to each employee on a weekly basis
  • Spaced Repetition quizzes — give employees an opportunity to go through the content one more time through interactive and bite-sized quizzes every week.
  • Collaborative — and the key to the product is to be able to connect employees with mentors and others who are going through the same process at the same time.

We are just getting started

And so, we are just getting started with this product and re-defining the way employees get the right information at the right time and at the same time help manage risks for the organization.
