Our objective is to encourage our fellow peers to join us in the battle to end the use of vapes in high schools. My group picked this topic because we felt it was a very serious and dangerous topic that needed to really be brought to light. This project will require research, hard, and scary facts that will open teenagers eyes to the risks of vaping. The product will be a poster we can put up on the screens around the school. So far in my research, I have learned that vaping is not actually safer than cigarettes. Also, vapes can cause permanent damage to your lungs, an example being “popcorn” lung. Since the year 2017, the use of vapes in high school students has increased by 800 percent.
